About Dr. Attia
Dr. Attia graduated in 1989 from the Alexandria
University Faculty of Dentistry in his native
country Egypt.
Dr.
Attia completed a year of general practice residency.
When Dr. Attia came to the United States he
completed dental school at Nova Southeastern
University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in May
2000. He completed another year of general practice
residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami
Beach, Florida and at the Jackson Memorial Hospital
Trauma Center.
Dr.
Attia has completed many additional courses
such as his Associate Fellowship with the World
Clinical Laser Institute in February
2006. He completed a Master Course in Advanced
Laser Periodontics through the World Congress
of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. In March 2008
Dr. Attia earned his Fellowship from the International
Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a member
of the organization. In April 2009, he earned
his Fellowship and Mastership from American
Dental Implant Association. Dr. Attia was also
named one of the Top Dentists in Atlanta in
2009 by Atlanta Magazine. In April 2010, he
received his diplomat from American Dental Implant
Association and was named one of America's Top
Dentists by Consumer's Research Council of America.
In July, 2011, Dr. Attia recieved his Fellowship
at the Aceademy of General Dentistry and
in June, 2012, he recieved his Master
at Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Attia belongs to other organizations including;
American Dental Association, Academy of General
Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association and Reserve
Officers Association. He stays up-to-date on
the latest in dental technologies.
As an officer in the United States Army Reserves,
Dr. Attia has had the opportunity to travel
to Europe and work in a dental clinic in Germany.
He is very grateful to have had so many different
environments to work in and to learn all that
he has over the years. After working for different
dental offices he decided to start his own practice.
In December 2006 his new private practice opened.
